Always Inspired With Whimsy Press
I cannot get over the new line of green products at Whimsy Press!
I also love their other products, like this stunning wedding gift wrap:
Indeed! I fell in love with these bookplates:
As a notorious lender of books, I simply MUST have these. I will strive to always have whimsy in my life & Whimsy Press on this blog!!!
PLING! Is The Sound Cupid’s Arrow Makes
I have been trying to wait until February to do a Valentine’s post. Since today is February 1st, I think I’m finally good to go. All of these letterpress lovelies I discovered on Etsy:
These two unique cards are from the Chewing The Cud shop. I think they pretty much rock. I also was drawn to these two from the Fourteen Sisters shop:
And these two from Sycamore Street Press:
I think the green & blue offer a refreshing respite from the traditional red & pink.
(More love after the jump.)
Pink Loves Brown
How cute is the name of this design company? Pink Loves Brown is currently one of my favorite stationery & note card companies. The stuff coming from the Chicago-based designer, Nicole Balch, is simply wonderful.

Blossom Creations
Much of my love for gift-wrap & stationery also causes me to feel extreme guilt. I love it all so much, but sometimes I feel like I am personally slaughtering trees with my own bare hands to sate my appetite for pretty paper products. Thank goodness for companies like Blossom Creations! This Australian company is really making strides in making recycled products pretty:

Three Potato Four
I have been following the story of the cutest online shop ever, Three Potato Four, for some time now in the blogosphere. But, today was the first day I actually remembered to visit myself. What was I thinking in putting off a visit to a magical site like this? Who knows? Why waste time with all these questions when you could be feasting your eyes on all the pretties available here:
(More treasures after the jump!)
Virtu Chicago
I can’t wait to have a free weekend to spend exploring some of the great design stores in Chicago. Just today I discovered another one while searching for Beth Mueller pottery. Virtu is located at 2034 N. Damen & I already adore almost everything in this shop.
Here’s the gorgeous pottery I was looking for:
But, exploring through the site I found lots of wonderful treasures, like these works of art from Laura Zindel:
Then, when I saw they carried products from two of my favorite paper companies, Like Snow & Graham:
And Egg Press:
I knew I’ve found a wonderful new shop to visit. I love Chicago!
Speaking of Chicago, if you are in the area tomorrow from 4-7 pm, feel free to stop by the Chicago Ale House at 2220 W. Lawrence Avenue to attend the benefit for my husband Casey’s film project, Altered Boy. There is a $25 charge, but you will receive two free drink tickets, and a raffle to win some great prizes. There will also be a full buffet & a preview of the film. Have a terrific weekend!
Paper Stories
A beautiful booth at Renegade was the Paper Stories booth. I loved the pretty notecards I saw here:
I love the bittersweet series:
I love that something so pretty can say exactly how you feel! Paper Stories also has an Etsy shop that I’m sure will be loaded up with lovely new products soon for the upcoming holidays!
