Martin Luther King Jr.

(Photo from AP via ABC)

Today marks the 40th anniversary of the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr.  This man had such a profound impact on our nation, and is one of my heroes.  I hope we all remember not the violent, senseless act that took his life, but instead remember the power of his messages of hope, unity, love & peace.

I would discribe King as the man with the hands of stone and with the mind of steel. And the best way to discribe him, is to just sit down and note with your head, and you will feel him.

Dr. King, A prophet, a hero, a disciple of God and an anointed human being.
Martin Luther King, Jr. has been and will always be an inspiration to me and to countless others.

“Well done good and faithful servant!” This beloved brother of ours has risen in glory.
