I guess it's a matter of taste. And I must say the ladies on this board have EXCELLENT taste. @ Lily - the walk across the meadow is one of my favorite scenes. He is just a delight to watch. @ Kat - "Forgive me. . . Madame. . . for taking up so much of your time." I had to watch P & P again last night - I needed a Matthew fix! Macfadyen did an excellent job as Mr. Darcy. And yes, he is not only VERY good-looking in the movie, he was also very lovable and adorable :). Haha. He was pretty funny sometimes too.
